Dr. Raj Kumar Satankar was born in Madhya Pradesh state of India. He received his Diploma and B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal M.P. Further, he received his Masters of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, Gujarat in the year 2009. In his professional career, he has been associated with reputed organizations including Essar Steel Limited, Surat, and ABG Shipyard Limited, Bharuch in Gujarat; Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, Punjab; GPERI, Mehsana, Gujarat; and JECRC University, Jaipur, Rajasthan in India.
Dr. Satankar received his Ph.D. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur, in 2019. In his research, Kumar contributed remarkable research in the field of rural technology and developed various products from Local Rajasthani clay and other Organic wastes found in Western Rajasthan for the use of the rural population of India.
Currently, Raj Kumar Satankar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, at Poornima College of Engineering, Jaipur, Rajasthan. There are several Research publications including ten (10) journal papers, thirteen (13) conference papers, two (2) book chapters, three (3) conference proceedings, three (3) Special issues, and a patent filed in his name. He has organized two (2) faculty development programs and five (5) international conferences. He is a lead guest editor of a special issue of the prestigious ESPR Journal of Springer Nature.
His current research interests are focused on Composites; Ceramics and Water-Energy Management; Community-Based Manufacturing and Process Management; and Drinking Water Sanitation in rural areas. His current h-index in Scopus and h-index in Google Scholar is 5 in each case.
